October 30, 2011
An arctic high is expected to develop over Alaska and the Yukon, and the Pacific by Thursday, November 4, 2011. This will cause a large drop in temperature in the west side of the continent. Most of the areas will be experiencing below freezing temperatures, except for coastal and low elevation areas, where temperatures are expected to dip 4-5°C, but remain above freezing.
Moisture will be pushed from the north into Southern B.C and continue southeast towards Wyoming, bring snow or mixed precipitation.
As more moisture moves into the B.C coast on Friday night and Saturday, there is a small possibility of more snow along northern sections of coastal B.C.
